Four criteria guide the teaching philosophy of Dr Karatutlu:

Encourage students’ curiosity and interest in current research topics and attempt to initiate new research from the material being discussed
To try to show the theoretical concepts presented to the school by their applications to the topics of major historical interest with their latest interest;
To introduce the students to practicing scientific research.
Pay attention to each student’s skills and needs personally and direct them to relevant projects to improve their capacity.
